Choose Mojito if you like fresh and minty, Screwdriver for orange and brunch, Sex on the Beach for fruity and juicy, Piña Colada for sweet and tropical, Appletini for tart and crisp, and Spicy Mango if you like heat. All six use the same label serve: 30ml mixer, 30 - 45ml spirit, chilled soda, ice.
Six flavours is enough to make you hesitate. The good news is that none of them is a bad choice, and the 60ml bottles make it cheap to try a couple. Here's how we'd choose.
Pick by Taste
- Fresh and cooling: Mojito. Lime and mint, with balanced sweetness.
- Bright and citrusy: Screwdriver. Sweet orange with a peel edge.
- Fruity and juicy: Sex on the Beach. Peach, orange and tart cranberry.
- Creamy and tropical: Piña Colada. Pineapple and coconut.
- Tart and clean: Appletini. Green apple with a crisp finish.
- Spicy and savoury-sweet: Spicy Mango. Mango, lime, chilli and a salty finish.

- Hot afternoon: Mojito or Appletini. Both are cold and sharp.
- Brunch: Screwdriver. It's the obvious one.

- Festive gatherings: Spicy Mango and Mojito. Read more in our Diwali drink ideas.
Which one is best if you don't like sweet drinks?
Appletini and Mojito lean tart and fresh. Add extra soda to any flavour to make it lighter. Every BarCraft mixer is sweetened (the label shows about 28g of sugars per 100ml), so none is a dry drink.
Which one is best as a mocktail?
All of them work: 30ml of mixer and about 200 - 250ml of chilled soda over ice. Mojito, Screwdriver and Appletini are the most refreshing, and Piña Colada is the most dessert-like.
Should you buy a big bottle or a small one?
Start with 60ml if you're unsure. It makes 2 drinks, which is enough to know whether you like the flavour. Once you do, the 600ml bottle makes about 30 servings and is better value for regular use. See all the options on the mixers page.
A simple way to start
Pick one flavour, one spirit and one glass. Make it exactly as the label says, once. Then adjust: more soda, a different garnish, a different spirit. That's the quickest way to learn what you like.
